Arzu Shams, LPC-S (she/her)

Owner & Therapist

Arzu is an affirming, culturally competent clinician who works with adults of all ages. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University and Master of Science in Counseling from The University of North Texas. Arzu has a wide range of experience from working in the school, hospital, and non-profit sectors. She has training in Crisis Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and CBT for Insomnia. She is also a fully trained Cognitive Processing Therapy provider and Phase 2 trained Brainspotting Practitioner. Arzu enjoys blending Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems approaches into her therapeutic work. While she works with a wide range of presenting concerns, her primary areas of focus include: anxiety, perfectionism/OCPD, trauma/C-PTSD, grief/complex grief, relationships issues, communication skills, boundary setting, career issues, life transitions, body image/self esteem, and interpersonal growth.

Lyndsey Perry, LPC, NCC (she/her)

Lyndsey is an affirming, culturally competent clinician who works with adults of all ages. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler. Lyndsey has experience working with a variety of individuals ranging in diversity, age, culture, and complexity of presenting issues from her time in the non-profit sector. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT for Insomnia, Brainspotting Phase 1 & 2, and Motivational Interviewing. Lyndsey has also obtained specialty training in Infertility from the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. She enjoys blending elements of Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into her work. Though Lyndsey is equipped to work with a wide range of issues, her primary areas of focus include: social anxiety, infertility, body image, self-worth/esteem, mood disorders, life transitions, identity issues, communication issues, relationship issues, career issues, and personal growth.

Kalyn Hardin, LPC (she/her)

​Kalyn is a an affirming, culturally competent clinician who works with adults of all ages. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Education from Lamar University. She has training and experience working with crisis, trauma, and complex cases from her time in the non-profit sector. She is trained in Phase 1 Brainspotting, Crisis Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT for Insomnia, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Kalyn also enjoys blending Existential therapy into her work. While equipped to work with a wide range of issues, her areas of focus include: anxiety, mood disorders, religious & spiritual issues, relationship issues, trauma, communication issues, grief, life transitions, women’s issues, and personal growth.

Jordie Gelsky, LMSW (she/her)

Jordie is an affirming, culturally competent clinician who works with ages 16 and up. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Arts, with a concentration in Psychology, from Ana Mendez University and a Masters of Arts in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Jordie has experience working with individuals at both the outpatient and residential levels of care, with specific exposure to addiction management and eating disorders. Jordie’s foundational approach stems from a Psychodynamic lens, blended with her training in the application of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Phase 1 Brainspotting. While equipped to work with a range of presenting issues, her primary areas of focus include: chronic health conditions, grief, relationship issues, interpersonal growth, pre-natal/post-partum issues, life transitions, communication Issues, unhealthy coping with substances, disordered eating.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Harding University and a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Tennesee. Jenna has experience working with a variety of individuals ranging in diversity, age, culture, and complexity of presenting issues from her time in the non-profit sector. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She enjoys blending elements of Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into her work. Though Jenna is equipped to work with a wide range of issues, her primary areas of focus include:  anxiety, body image, self-worth/esteem, college students, life transitions, communication issues, relationship issues, career issues, parenting issues, grief, boundary setting, disordered eating, family, dynamics, and personal growth.

Cheyanne King, FNTP (she/her)

Functional Nutrtional Therapy Practitioner & Health Coach

Cheyanne is a Certified Functional Medicine Nutritionist who works with adults using nutritional therapy, with a holistic and foundational approach. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University. She also obtained specialized training from the Nutritional Therapy Association. In addition to nutritional therapy, Cheyanne focuses on supporting her clients bio-individually by promoting stress reduction and lifestyle changes, in order to address the root cause of symptoms and achieve optimal functioning. While equipped to work with a wide range of issues, her areas of focus include: digestive disorders (IBD, IBS, SIBO), blood sugar regulation, mineral imbalance, metabolic syndrome, hormone imbalance, and autoimmune disorders (Hashimoto's).
